Babel vs Ngog
I hear a lot of journalists and commentators talking about how Liverpool’s Ryan Babel has to step up his game and improve his contribution to the Reds. I agree to a certain extent, but I don’t understand how people continue to rate David Ngog more highly than the Dutchman. I’m not saying Babel is World Class, both the players are basically vying for the role of Fernando Tores’ "sidekick".
I don’t think Ngog is completely rubbish, he definitely has some talent, but I don’t think he holds a candle to Babel. Babel is a better footballer in all areas, especially holding up the play, passing, and definitely finishing. I also rate him higher than Dirk Kuyt; yes, Kuyt works hard, but Babel has more skill and can deliver a good cross or a testing strike, something Kuyt battles to do regularly.
at this moment of time in 2010 20th december babel is better than ngog. babel is faster better dribbler , shooter , passer and can cross better. also babel can get behind defenders and he will scare them. ngog is better than babel in some areas like in the air , holding up the ball , creating chances but babel over him anyday.
ReplyDeleteYeah, and I think Ryan Babel protects the ball better. Ngog seems to give away possession far too easily.
ReplyDeleteBabel will also take some long range shots which will keep the defence guessing. I really feel Babel deserves a long run in the starting line-up.
