Thought Kuyt's goal was as controversial as any I have seen in recent times but I agree that Liverpool did indeed deserve their pound of flesh. Bent's a bit underrated but I think he knows how to tuck that ball in when's he's been given the chance.
ReplyDeleteAre the Pool fans getting a bit frustrated with Roy? Think it will take some time for him to get it right. Patience is the keyword.
Definitely need patience, I respect Roy, and was happy enough when he got the job (not my first choice though). I think he needs to stamp his own team and style on the club and not follow Benitez. He is just starting to do that, and I think if LFC can get a more positive approach they'll do much better.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I do rate Bent. I think if he played for a bigger club, he'd be an England regular. It's a pity how that works sometimes.
