More Frustration for Liverpool

After Liverpool’s frustrating draw against Manchester United, there was further exasperation as they dropped two more points against Norwich at Anfield on Saturday.

With
Lucas suspended, Craig Bellamy earned a place in the starting XI to play against the club where he started his professional career. And he made an impact with his pace, causing the Norwich defence a few problems.

In the dying seconds of stoppage time in the fist half he made one his runs count by scoring a deflected goal. The Welshman was clearly delighted, but led a slightly subdued celebration out of respect for his former club.

Liverpool continued to create an abundance of chances, but failed to take them. They were made to pay for their poor finishing when they conceded midway through the secod half. In the last minute of the game Andy Carroll saw a header fly inches winde, and Luis Suarez then had point blank snap shot expertly saved by the Norwich 'keeper.

Two more points dropped at Anfield.
